Visit the National Museum at the former Royal Palace and the city’s oldest temple of Wat Sene and the magnificent Wat Xiengthong with its roofs sweeping low to the ground.

Admire the impressive stupa of Wat Visoun and the shrine of Wat Aham, Wat Mai, climb up to the top of Mount Phousi. Explore the Night Market, where you can find a lovely selection of handmade textile made by local and hill tribe people surrounding Luang Prabang.

Embark on a cruise upstream on the Mekong River.  Along the way, stop at the village of Ban Xanghai, where they make the local rice wine.

Visit Ban Xienglek and Ban Xangkong, the villages of handmade jute paper making and continue taking a short drive to Ban Phanom, a village well known for its hand weaving.

Night in Luang Prabang.

Participate in the daily morning rituals of saffron-clad monks collecting offerings of Alms from the faithful residents. From there you will visit the morning Phosi Market.

Then drive to the beautiful Khouangsi Waterfall to cool off with a refreshing swim in the turquoise pools or walk along the forest trails.

Enjoy the sunset at Wat Siphouthabath.

Night in Luang Prabang.

Travel by road to Vang Vieng. Our intrepid journey will be strenuous as we drive along one of the most scenic but also one of the roughest routes in Asia. In the afternoon, we arrive in Vang Vieng, a small and tranquil town, which is nestled on a bend of the Nam Song River. Its stunning scenery with a mixture of quiet water and limestone outcrops remains unspoiled. Cross the Nam Song River to Tham Jang caves and witness a superb panorama of the sunset reflecting over the Nam Song River.

Embark on a boat for a well-paced trip along the Nam Song River, exploring the breath-taking mountain landscape. Then drive out of town to the fabulous capital, Vientiane. The rest of the day is at your own leisure.

Visit some of the major sights, including the oldest temple Wat Sisaket and the former royal temple of Wat Prakeo.

En route to Lao’s national precious heritage, the famous and sacred structure of That Luang Stupa, you will have the opportunity to take some pictures of the imposing Patuxay Monument.

Drive to the outskirt of the city to see the Buddha Park, a scattered enchanting collection of Buddhist and Hindu sculptures on the Mekong Riverside meadow, near the Friendship Bridge.

Transfer to airport for your flight to Pakse. Upon arrival, take a tea break en route to the Boloven Plateau area to observe the locals and their way of life as they make traditional tea and coffee. The Boloven Plateau is known for its cooler temperature being located high above the Mekong Valley. Rivers run off this high plateau in all directions and then plunge out to lush forests along in a series of spectacular surging waterfalls. Visit Tad Lo waterfall and the villages of Alak, Nge, Katu, populated by ethnic minority groups.

Night at Tadlo.

Head out to Khong Island. On the way, we make a short detour to visit Pha Suam waterfall and stroll around the ethnic minority villages of Lao Teung.

Visit the fascinating pre-Angkorian ruins of Wat Phu, one of Southeast Asia's most dramatically situated temples. explore these intriguing Khmer ruins, which are perched at the base of Mount Phu Kao. Wat Phu is one of the Lao World Heritage sites recognized by UNESCO in 2001, this wonderful archeological site of Khmer civilization dates back to the 5^th century, predating the famous Angkor Wat in Cambodia.

Continue our journey to Donekhong Island, the largest island in the South Mekong river region known as the 4000 islands, one of the most scenic areas in Laos.

Night in Don Khong.

Enjoy a visit to the surrounding countryside, and embark on a long trail boat tour of the Don Khone area.

After breakfast, transfer to visit Khone Phapheng. Khone Phapheng is considered the largest waterfall by volume in the South East Asia; this is really an impressive sight with marvelous nature near the Lao-Cambodian border, which is teeming with wildlife making this area one of the most breathtaking destinations in Laos. Then drive back to Pakse. The rest of the day is at your leisure.
