After breakfast, embark on a journey to Ha Long Bay- a UNESCO World Heritage Site (4 hours by car). Along the way, beautiful panoramic views of the rural village and paddy fields of the Red River Delta.
Ha Long Bay is located 165 km east of Hanoi, in Quang Ninh Province. The site covers an area of 434 square km and comprises 775 limestone islets. Each islet has been marvelously carved by wind and water and, through time, stand as sculptures which decorate the vast expanses. Together they are a testament to the forces of nature and live up to the aptly named Bay of the Descending Dragon.
Midday arrival in Ha Long city and board a junk cruise. Seafood lunch on the bay.
Spend the afternoon cruising around Halong Bay’s thousands of limestione islets and caves. Visit a natural grotto with spectacular formations en-route.

Wake up early to watch amazing sunrise over the bay in the morning. Continue cruising before returning to Hanoi. Disembark the cruise and transfer to FLC Halong Golf.

Be enchanted by the historic wonders and quaint charm of UNESCO heritage. Spend a half day with a local guide, exploring the ancient town and learn all about Hoi An’s illustrious past as a trading port.
Take a walk through town and seeing remarkably well-preserved traditional houses that have withstood 200 years of weather and war. You will hear stories about the prosperous merchants who used to live in these homes, some proudly recounted by their own children and grandchildren.
Visit a Chinese Assembly hall, a colorful bright gates, dragon statues and elaborate rooftops.
Make a stop at the Japanese Covered Bridge, one of two such bridges in Vietnam. The bridge was built more than 400 years ago to connect the Japanese community with the Chinese who lived on the other side of the water. You will find carvings and paintings rich with symbolism and cultural significance inside the bridge.
Visit some of Hoi An’s famous handicraft shop, art galleries and the town’s vibrant market and thread through the smaller laneways and local neighborhoods to really appreciate Hoi An’s endless charm.

Free afternoon to relax and explore at your own leisure. You might like to enjoy the beach or take a walk to the riverside near your hotel to explore the local shops. Grab a “Banh Mi”, world-famous local baguette at the local eatery.

After breakfast, drive from Hoi An to Hue. Travel over the Hai Van Pass, which on a clear day has spectacular views out to the East Sea and the Lang Co Peninsula.
Arrival in Hue and exploring the Imperial City, known as the Citadel, with your guide- which was actually a walled fortress and palace belonged to the ancient city of Hue which was a capital city of the Nguyen Dynasty for 140 years back from 1805 until 1945.
Explore the tomb of King Khai Dinh. This hillside monument is a synthesis of Vietnamese and European elements. Most of the tomb’s grandiose exterior is covered in blackened concrete, creating an unexpectedly Gothic air, while the interiors resemble an explosion of colourful mosaic. Khai Dinh was the penultimate emperor of Vietnam, from 1916 to 1925. The construction of his flamboyant tomb took 11 years.
Visit the Thien Mu Pagoda, one of the main institutions for Buddhism in Vietnam.

A short flight (1.5 hours) takes you to vibrant Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon). Drive 1.5 hours to explore the underground tunnels in Cu Chi. The intricate underground network of tunnels and chambers were first dug in 1948 to assist the Viet Minh against Colonial France and were continually expanded in the following 25 years. At its peak the de-facto underground city housed up to 10,000 people with living areas, kitchens, storage, weapons factories, field hospitals and command centers.
During the American War the entire area of Cu Chi was designated a free fire zone and was heavily bombarded. From 1988, two sections of tunnels have been open for visitors. Now you have a chance to crawl through the tunnels yourself!
Return to Ho Chi Minh City for lunch.

Departure for My Tho in the Mekong Delta which has extensive network of thousands of water channels extending over 40,000 km2. The landscape is beautiful with its yellow rice fields and green orchards. The main mean of transportation is by boat. Board a traditional boat for a trip down the Mekong River, experience the memorable floating markets, and explore the canals and their lush green vegetation. Don’t miss the orchards where you can listen to the traditional tunes of the South while tasting a diverse selection of tropical fruits. Filled with vitamins and fiber, discover the local way of producing coconut candy and rehydrate yourself with a cup of honey tea at a beekeeping house.

Afternoon tour to explore the biggest city of Vietnam in the afternoon. Take a walk to visit Reunification Place (former Presidential Place), Dong Khoi Street, Opera House, City Hall or Cathedral. Send your postcards from the pretty French colonial-style post office built by Gustave Eiffel in 1891 and visit the Ben Thanh market, an 11,000 m covered market, which offers the visitor an assortment of local products.
