Transfer to Ninh Binh city (2.5 hours by car). Visit Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Board a small row boat and enjoy the spectacular natural beauty of “Ha Long on land” and its karst mountains – where the newly - released blockbuster Kong: Skull Island was filmed.

Situated near the southern margin of the Red River Delta, the Trang An Landscape Complex is a spectacular landscape of limestone karst peaks permeated with valleys, many of them partly submerged and surrounded by steel, almost vertical cliffs. Exploration of caves at different altitudes has revealed archaeological traces of human activity over a continuous period of 30, 000 years. They illustrate the occupation of these mountains by seasonal hunter-gatherers and how they adapted to major climatic and environment changes, especially the repeated inundation of the landscape by the sea after the last ice age. The story of human occupation continues through the Neolithic and Bronze Ages to the historical era. Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam, was strategically established here in the 10^th and 11^th centuries AD.

Visit the Temples of King Dinh and King Le which were built in the 17^th century.

The temples are dedicated to King Dinh and King Le, the two kings who lived in 10th century and chose Hoa Lu to build the citadel of the capital city. From time to time, archaeologists have excavated buried parts of this citadel and found rusty weapons and ceramics.

Transfer to Pu Luong - off the beaten track (3.5 hours by car).

Pu Luong is blessed with rich tropical forest, limestone panoramas, and magnificent rice terraces. This is also a living place of ethnic Muong and Thai people in traditional stilt houses nested in the valleys.

After breakfast, transfer to Noi Bai International Airport for a short flight to Nha Trang (about 2 hours).

Enjoy the next couple days of relaxation in Nha Trang at your own leisure, whether it’s taking a boat to explore nearby islands, visiting Ponagar Temple, snorkelling through warm waters or soaking in mud baths.

After breakfast, transfer to Da Lat on beautiful mountainous roads by car (about 3 hours).  Da Lat is located 1,500 m above the sea level in the Central Highland, and was the favourite holiday getaway for the last Emperor of Vietnam – Bao Dai.

Enjoy the highland fresh air and take time to visit beautiful waterfalls and gorgeous lakes and the city’s countryside.

A short flight (1.5 hours) takes you to vibrant Ho Chi Minh city (Saigon). Free day to explore the biggest city of Vietnam. Take a walk to visit Reunification Place (former Presidential Place), Dong Khoi Street, Opera House, City Hall or Cathedral. Send your postcards from the pretty French colonical – style post office built by Gustave Eiffel in 1891 and visit the Ben Thanh market, an 11,000 m covered market, which offers the visitor an assortment of local produce. Grab a bowl of seafood “Banh canh” soup, a local favourite.

Departure for My Tho in the Mekong Delta. Board a traditional boat for a trip down the Mekong River, experience the memorable floating markets, and explore the canals and their lush green vegetation. Don’t miss the orchards where you can listen to the traditional tunes of the South while tasting a diverse selection of tropical fruits. Discover the local way of producing coconut candy and rehydrate yourself with a cup of honey tea at a beekeeping house.
